Telford House West is a striking holiday home, with spectacular views of the Caledonian Canal and the iconic Neptune's Staircase just footsteps from the front door. In the distance, the towering Ben Nevis grants an incredible skyline, with famous Highland sunsets for all to enjoy!

Ideally located close to Fort William, Telford House is a delightful spot to return to after a day out. If you are too weary to cook, take the 5-minute walk to the nearby Moorings Hotel for homemade dishes or pack up a picnic to enjoy in the garden overlooking the canal.

Stepping inside, the house offers the perfect blend of modern and antique with a stylish twist. The sitting room with its wood burning stove, is both welcoming and restful whilst from the dining room you can see the boats glide through the canal. The master bedroom has beautiful views from the comfort of your bed, whilst the second twin bedroom is the perfect den for little explorers. Outside, there’s a peaceful seating area with seriously impressive views and easy access to the canalside trails.

Nestled in the quaint village of Banavie, just north of Loch Linnhe, Telford House West is only about four miles from Fort William yet a million miles from everyday life. The village itself is well worth exploring - part of the Great Glen Way, it has plenty of walking and cycling paths that will help you get to know the area. There are some first-class places to eat and drink, all offering a warm Highland welcome.

If you want to go further afield, the West Highland train line stops in Banavie and will take you anywhere you’d like to go between Fort William and Mallaig. With views of the Great Glen at every turn, it beats any other commute in the country hands down. You could even take a journey on the ‘Hogwarts Express’ from nearby Fort William – also known as the Jacobite Steam Train (it’s a magical journey whether or not you’re a Harry Potter fan!).

Known as the 'Outdoor Adventure Capital of the UK', Fort William offers walking, climbing, canyoning, canoeing - even paragliding if you’re feeling adventurous! If you prefer to have your feet firmly on the ground – or under it – visit the Treasures of the Earth museum, an underground experience with a difference.
